finally had a chance to wear this proenza schouler skirt, a variation on a fall 2012 runway piece that i scored from yoox. i love the black perforated leather mixed with navy silk dupioni, not to mention the cool asymmetrical closure and origami like pleats. to temper the volume of the skirt, i paired it with a slim fitting tee and delicate pumps. clearly i have a thing for proenza skirts (see here, here, and here)—the design is always unique yet can be paired with pieces already in your closet. i can tell this is going to be a long love affair…
