getting into the late fall into holiday spirit with a plaid blazer and plaid shirt combo. you guys know i love a blazer, and this harris tweed blazer is so versatile (see how i’ve worn it here and here). it’s also super warm so it works not only as a blazer, but as outerwear.
i paired it this time around with two new pieces: a plaid ruffle shirt from the nordstrom sale and washed gray high waist jeans. i’m pretty sure i had a similar shirt growing up, but this version is more modern with the cropped and slighly boxy silhouette. the plaid blazer and plaid shirt is a subtle way to print mix…they are in the same color family but different scales.
the washed black jeans, by re/done originals, are something i’d been looking for since early september. i tried the levi’s wedgie fit, but they weren’t very flattering on me. it was a bummer since they were under $100, but sometimes you need to spend a bit more to get the right fit. i had popped into barneys where they had the re/done originals line, and the fit on them is top notch. they’ve found a way to get that’s vintage levi’s fit in brand new jeans. yes, they were a bit expensive but i’ve already worn them a bunch of times (like here)…gotta get that cost per wear number down!
j. crew blazer (old, similar options below), bp shirt, re/done originals jeans (wearing a 26), mango mules, future glory bag, tom ford sunglasses, vintage earrings (similar)
