yesterday afternoon, i had the pleasure of meeting trina turk and hearing more about her new collaboration with banana republic. then at night, some of my co-workers and i stopped by the grant street flagship for the launch party. the party was so fun, with yummy food, a cotton candy machine, and trina’s signature drink of campari, soda, and pink grapefruit juice. for the collection itself, the five signature prints were pulled from the trina turk archives and put on items like swimwear, shorts, cocktail dresses, and accessories. and if you aren’t a fan of multicolored patterns, there’s a black and white zebra print or solid colored items as well. check out the line at your local banana republic store or online…it’s only around for a limited time.
