back when i first started blogging, one thing i was very passionate about was magazines and ad campaigns. that passion hasn’t really waned, but i haven’t been posting much of around here are those two things. i’m constantly ripping out my favorites and putting them on my inspiration board at home, but not sharing here. one of my intentions for the new year is to bring that back and share more of what i’m loving, and show you how to get the look.
if you’ve been following here for a while, you’ll know natasa vojnovic is one of my favorites. her look is so unique, which has probably led to such a long-lasting career. she became muse to both karl lagerfeld and nicolas ghesquiere, which right there tells you how versatile she is. in the january issue of instyle, she shows off the pastel dressing trend (even though a few pieces aren’t really pastel…haha) in boyish trousers, silk blouses, chunky sweaters, and feminine dresses. i love the mix of interior shots with concrete walls and exterior shots with tons of foliage, and i also like that she looks very natural—messy hair and no-makeup makeup.
just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you have to wear all black and grays…see some of the winter-into-spring pieces i’m into below. hope all my east coasters are staying safe and warm.
