two signs of the apocalypse.


rachel zoe has just been named to the board of the newly formed halston company, wwd is reporting. zoe will act as a creative consultant alongside tamara mellon, founder and ceo of jimmy choo. way to destroy a perfectly good label. an interesting article about the “stylist” appears in today’s nytimes.

also in wwd, scarlett johansson is going for the trifecta with louis vuitton. the star will appear in the fall/winter ad campaign to be shot by mert & marcus in l.a. sometime next week. last fall’s ads were ok and spring’s were horrid. there’s no where to go but up, right?
