john galliano used images of lisa fonssagrives as a starting point, and revisited the 20s and 40s at dior couture, sending out a collection of his best hits. he mixed in asian influences and of course the galliano trademark leopard suits. the best thing about it was it was high on creativity, technique, and wearability. i was also a fan of the sherbet colors, jewel-encrusted shoes and molded cloche hats.
