last week i went over to the madewell store to pull a look for tomorrow’s event, and was instantly drawn to these raw hem skinnies. i had been checking out jeans like these from a few other brands recently, and in all cases, they were all too long. when i saw these, the first thing i noticed was that they were high-waist skinnies. hm…usually high waist and skinny does nothing for me, but the madewell ladies convinced me to give these a try. not only were the jeans the right length (cropped on most women, but full length on me), but the high waist was flattering—success! to go with them, i picked a tuxedo vest (since i have a thing for white blazers, having a white vest seems like a no brainer), and one of the gorgeous moroccan print tops from the collection.
