the calendar may say that it’s fall, but i am still embracing summer—especially when the temps rise into the 80s in san francisco. this dress from j.o.a. has a built-in tie at the waist to give you a some shape, and a sheer hem to take the typical white shift dress up a notch. i added a patterned clutch, snakeskin heels, and vintage earrings for meetings while in new york, but you could wear this with nude pumps, a cardigan, or even flats (if you’re on the taller side) for the office. and just because it turns cool doesn’t mean you have to put this dress in storage. i’ll be wearing it later on with suede pumps, tights, and a chunky cardigan or moto jacket.
j.o.a. dress (under $60), pedder red sandals (similar), proenza schouler clutch (leather version), vintage earrings, super sunglasses, cluse watch, céline and giles and brother bracelets
