i always think of jumpsuits as being more “formal,” but the recent boiler suit trend has me rethinking that. a few of my co-workers have been into boiler suits for a few years now (specifically the ones from big bud press, which makes inclusive boiler suits), but as with a lot of trends, i like to see how it fits with my style before getting on board. a few months ago, i found this cream topshop boiler suit at nordstrom, and i love that it feels like an elevated pair of jeans. the dark topstitching makes it feel like denim, but the horn buttons add polish. i also am very into the cream color; you typically see boiler suits in olive, khaki, or black, which can feel more utilitarian. the cream feels more feminine but also versatile as we move into early fall. my particular one is sold out but i’ve pulled some others below.
any plans for the long weekend? i’m heading back up to wine country and getting ready for a trip back east next week that i’m super excited about. hope you have a lovely one!
