a mid-week post featuring one of my new wardrobe staples—the t-shirt bodysuit. this one from alix is more fitted, which is perfect to wear under blazers and slipdresses (i also got this sexier one for nights out), but i also recently bought a more relaxed version from madewell. i’ve been all about high waist denim these days—to the point that it feels weird wearing mid-rise jeans—so bodysuits are perfect for looking pulled together in a pinch.

if you follow me on instagram (i hope you do!), you’ll see i was in sonoma last week for our fall photoshoot. the house we shot in was ah-mazing; it was leed silver certified and had all kinds of cool bells and whistles, including a pool i wish i could have jumped in. now it’s time to start thinking about holiday and getting ready for an east coast trip for july 4th…so excited to see my nephew, who just turned 9 months on monday.

speaking of which, what’s going on right now with immigrant children is horrifying, heartbreaking and disgusting. there are some wonderful organizations working to reunite kids with their families that goop has put together (i donated to raices). if you’re in the bay area, in good company, started by my friend katie, is putting on an event on tuesday at the assembly, with a silent auction of products & experiences from local brands (like lisa says gah, le point, tartine manufactory, third love, vintners daughter and more) benefiting raices. grab a spot here.
