in honor of #throwbackthursday, i’m wearing a crop top and culottes. i think the last time i was in a crop top (or more specifically a cropped tank) was the 90s, and i was most likely at sea isle city or long beach island with my friends soaking up the last warm days of summer. and culottes…i can’t even remember, although i do recall wearing a corduroy pair in grade school. flash forward to the present day, when crop tops are everywhere and culottes are the hot “new” pant silhouette. what’s different here? the bottoms are silk, so it’s flowy like a skirt, and the high waist ensures that i’m only exposing a sliver of skin. i paired these two with a zara pajama blazer, which made the whole look more modern, and perfect for a dinner out (since you definitely need a jacket here).
