hello 2016! hope you had a lovely holiday with family and friends. ours was very mellow; since we stayed local, it was the perfect time to watch a ton of sports (basketball, bowl games, and pro football), catch up with friends, go to the movies, hit up our favorite restaurants, and do a bit of domestics. it also was nice to unplug from work and recharge.
i picked up this coat from ann taylor during their black friday sale, and it’s on sale right now for 70% off! it’s really two coats in one, reversing from this cool furry side to a nylon quilted one. it’s superlightweight but warm, and packs easily. i paired it with my leather leggings and a sweater dress that i belted into a tunic, a simple, pulled together look for sushi and a movie in the hood.
