i love a good sweatshirt, and this one has a bunch of great things rolled into one—it’s black and navy, and the bold typography combines two of my favorite places, california and new york. i wasn’t quite sure of the cropped silhouette at first, but since i do have so many traditional and oversized sweatshirts, i wanted to pick something different and a bit more feminine. the shape looks great with high waist skirts (like this topshop one i scored on sale), jeans (like this pair from madewell that’s on heavy rotation), and shorts, or you can play with proportion and layer a longer top or button down underneath.
