for resort, narciso rodriguez continued to explore the sleek and minimal styles he did for fall, but in a more refined way (and without the camo and helmets). highlights included wrap pleated minis, trapunto pleated denim shifts, loose t-shirt dresses, and cutout cocktail dresses. i loved the simple shapes in a very sophisticated palette: black, white, and grey with a touch of lilac, dots, and a graphic pattern that echoed back to narciso’s love of architecture. all in all, a great effort from one of my favorite designers.
