the higher-end theyskens’ theory collection has been available for about a year now and editors, stylists and fashion mavens have been going crazy over the velvet wedges, supple leather jackets, mannish trousers and haircalf bags. now the first theory collection, with direction from theyskens is hitting shelves just in time for fall. this ed from neiman marcus’ the book for september, shows off the looks beautifully…i’m loving the cream skirt suit on sasha pivovarova.
in the q&a, theyskens said, “my approach for the line is making what i feel is right for it for now, understanding where it’s been and what it stands for, and how i can take it somewhere new.” he has definitely done that, making theory covetable for not only versatile workwear but for must-have fashion pieces.
