remember this post from back in march? i was really into wearing fuller skirts this spring but i was having a hard time finding ones that in prints that i liked that were also flattering. so imagine my surprise a few weeks ago when i went to a preview night of the gilt warehouse sale and found this gem by carolina herrera. the silk faille fabric is substantial without being heavy, and the print is perfect year round with the addition of black.
what was also fun about this shoot was getting to work with the uber talented lydia hudgens. 99% of the photos on the blog are taken by either a co-worker or my husband, and it’s always nice to work with someone new and be photographed through their eyes (as with these taken by kate seward). she’s coming back to the bay area later in the summer, and i can’t wait to work with her again.
