the new look: neutral patterns.

the new look Uncategorized

if you read a lot of fashion magazines, as i do, many say that if you find something you love to buy it in multiples. after college, i did that with gap jeans—i just knew my fit and size, and had many pairs in many washes. now it’s the j.crew boy shirt. for me, it’s the perfect button front shirt that isn’t too oversized or too fitted (ie, too “office-y”), and they make it in different solids, stripes, prints, and plaids in everything from cotton to linen to flannel. this cotton/silk one is from last spring, but it’s definitely one of my favorites—i can wear it year-round and i love the neutral print.

there are lots of versions of the boy shirt (with some on sale)! is there an item in your closet that you’ve got multiples of?

j. crew boy shirt (see more of my favorite boy shirt styles below), silence + noise skirt, zara sandals (old, similar), vintage chanel bag, linda farrow x alexander wang sunglasses, forever 21 earrings, j. crew (similar), jewelmint (similar), céline (similar), eddie borgo bracelets, vintage and vita fede rings
