1. in case you didn’t know, fashion week kicked off yesterday. a highlight was the return of kenneth cole to the runway after a seven year hiatus. cole and creative director kobi halperin put out a collection with leather trousers, mixed media coats, easy knits, and velvet cargo pants. / 2. deborah needleman’s (founding editor of domino and former editor of wsj magazine) first issue at the helm of t: the new york times fashion magazine comes out next weekend, and i’m already in love with the feature article on lee radziwill (featuring a video directed by sofia coppola). / 3. after reading sabrina’s review, i’m super excited to try hourglass’ new ambient lighting powder. unlike other highlighters, the super tiny particles manipulate and filter out harsh light, is free of parabens, talc, and fragrance plus comes in six shades. / 4. i know i’m about two seasons too late, but i’m suddenly craving these nike sky dunk wedge sneakers to knock around in over the weekend (and in tahoe). / 5. wildlife works just released their spring 2013 collection and i love the drapey tees, batwing sweaters, and printed pants with prints using hand-mixed, water based inks. every dollar spent on their products goes directly to job creation and community development in rural communities around the world. if you’re in san francisco, be sure to stop by be good clothing on union street this tuesday as they’re having a happy hour to celebrate the line.
