oh hey may.

currently coveting inspiration Uncategorized

here are a few things i’m into this month, and as always, see more fun stuff on instagram—including behind the scenes of our fall photoshoot (the thing taking up much of my time), which is tomorrow and friday. we’re shooting in a really cool house, so i’m pretty stoked.

————————————

chloë sevigny has such great style and an idgaf* attitude that goes with being a red carpet (and acting) rebel. i recently ordered her new photobook filled with images ranging from the more personal (like proms) to red carpet appearances. the look above is one of my all-time favorites (it’s alber elbaz for yves saint laurent from the 2000 oscars—she was nominated for boys don’t cry)

i follow courtney of always judging on snapchat, and she got a video of banks performing at the iro store opening party in new york and i was intrigued. i downloaded her album goddess and have been listening to it nonstop. her voice is part florence welch and part aaliyah, which is quite magical.

yes, i’m from philly but i am totally about dub nation this postseason. getting my basketball/hockey playoff fix until the dull days of baseball start.

even though i have combination/oily skin, i usually shy away from powder foundations, but on a trip to chanel to get some other makeup, the artist tried double perfection lumière on me and i fell in love. it’s got a slightly luminous finish that doesn’t look caked on and lasts through the day.

pretty obsessed with these me & me initial necklaces from louis vuitton. they are on a longer chain, perfect for layering with other delicate necklaces.

i wanted a pair of espadrilles for knocking around in and while i adore these aquazzura ones, spending $500 on a pair of summer shoes wasn’t on my agenda. enter these fab lace up ones from gap. they come in various neutral colors and patterns, and the best part? they’re under $35.

annie and i saw dior and i this past weekend and it’s one of the best fashion documentaries i’ve ever seen. raf simons is just so sweet humbled by this job. for him to design a couture collection in eight weeks seems impossible, but with the help of his right hand and his amazing team, it’s a triumph.
