inspired by: oversized.

inspiration on a personal note Uncategorized

i’ve been looking at a lot of street style for fall, getting inspired for dressing in different textures and layers and there’s one thing i’ve been really drawn to—oversized silhouettes. courtney from always judging has been doing this look so well, like her post featuring j. brand’s new johnny jean. it definitely takes a different kind of confidence to wear something oversized vs. something fitted, and it also takes a deft styling eye. it’s not just as easy as wearing shopping the men’s department, but finding pieces where some of the fit details (like shoulders, rise) are female-specific. how do you feel about going big?

check out some oversized pieces i’d love to add to my fall wardrobe below…

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘widgets.rewardstyle.com’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);
