i was perusing through the new j.crew catalog this weekend, and there was a page about mixing prints that said “do mix prints. just be sure one color repeats in each piece.” well the colors don’t exactly repeat, and the prints aren’t really different (cheetah spots vs. polka dots), but i still think this look works. sometimes even when it’s wrong, it’s right.
