i am on pinterest a lot—to get ideas and inspiration for work and for style. i had found this image from fashion eaters and became slightly obsessed with this denim dress. i think the reason i was so intrigued by it is that it’s essentially a long jean jacket, and it seems like a great layering piece. right before fashion week i spotted this dress in the window of the seven for all mankind store and immediately went inside to try it on. i haven’t been prone to impulse purchases lately but this was bought on the spot. the denim is super soft and has just the right amount of stretch to hug your curves. it was a bit too warm to wear in new york, but perfect for san francisco’s not-quite-summer-not-quite-fall september.
