bringing you a slightly different twist on my usual masculine meets feminine style, all with classic pieces that you can wear in a more traditional way, or mix them up for a more unique look. my blazer is something i picked up at h&m a few months ago and it’s a nice change from my typical darker plaids (although it think it will be great in the cooler weather layered with a sweater). the top was a zara sale find that i’m already envisioning over my favorite leather leggings and a button down shirt. and finally it’s my third pair of madewell 9″ high rise skinny jeans, which are the ne plus ultra of jeans for me (besides my re/done’s but you know those are spendy). everything that madewell advertises about these is for real plus they don’t stretch out. i’m already eyeing this pair next.
it’s been exceptionally hectic the last week or so both professionally and personally. our holiday location shoot was last week (did you catch some of the bts on stories? we made it snow in marin!) and there’s another holiday shoot tomorrow and friday. i found out an aunt that i’m close to passed away so i’m heading back east post labor day. it’s funny fashion, week starts thursday, and in year’s past, i’d be gearing up for fashion week slash birthday celebrations in new york—working on my schedule, events, store openings, dinners, etc. this year i’m happy to be spending quality time with family and friends back on the right coast. don’t get me wrong, i still love fashion week but it’s ok for your priorities to shift a bit and to slow down…you know put it in neutral.
anywoo, thanks as always for stopping by and happy hump day!
