i’m trying out a brand today that i’ve seen a lot of, but never had the opportunity to try on and it’s keepsake. the australian-based brand was started by creative director melanie flintoft and her husband (who had already started finders keepers and c/meo collective at this point) to fill a void in the marketplace for mid-tier occasion wear. their clothing is so romantic but also has an edge to it, which i really love. this dress is definitely not something i would typically pick up in a store, but there was something about it i also couldn’t resist. instead of adding a high heel, i toned the girliness down by pairing it with an army jacket, patent chanel loafers (also seen here) and tortoise sunglasses. but worn a more traditional way, it would be great for an easter brunch, baby shower, or daytime wedding.
you can shop keepsake at bnkr (and also shop all of flintoft’s other brands), shopbop, nordstrom and more. a note on sizing, i’m wearing a size m (us 6) in this dress…i find the sizing on the small size (like asos where i’m a 6-8 depending on the item).
