a few weeks ago, i talked about some things to pay attention to as fashion month kicks off, and as i’ve been pinning some of my favorite street style looks, one thing is apparent—the 80s oversized trend is back. and dare i say it’s not really a trend at this point, it’s a way of life. so how do you incorporate it without looking like you stole your dad’s shirt or got dressed in the dark? add some femininity. whether it’s a fitted mock turtleneck like annina mislin (second from last…also a mock turtleneck!), a softer texture like silk, a strappy sandal, or showing some skin (big shirt, no pants). something else that stood out? minimal accessories. all you need is a sunglasses, a chic bag, and off you go.
