i was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing today of designer alexander mcqueen. he was a visionary designer who while making wearable clothing also produced pieces that were theatrical, magical, and awe-inspiring. he made clothes for fantasies and the fanatical, for moody days and romantic nights, for models, movie stars, and good-ol’ chicks and blokes who weren’t satisfied with being status quo.
thank you for supplying the fashion of dreams, and i hope you have found the peace you did not find on earth…
